With the development of electronic technology, single chip microcomputer technology and the improvement of photoelectric detector performance, the single beam structure without cutting beam has shown a good application prospect in infrared carbon dioxide analysis.

In terms of optical structure, single beam junction without cutting beam is a single light source, a single gas chamber, a single detection device, and there is no beam modulation element. Therefore, its main features are no moving parts, good anti vibration performance and simple structure. For the infrared carbon dioxide sensor, whether the time double beam structure or the space dual beam structure is adopted, the purpose is to realize the reference processing of Bo I light beam and reference beam, so as to eliminate the influence of infrared source radiation power and infrared detector responsivity temperature drift and improve the measurement accuracy. For single beam structure without cutting beam, it only has measurement beam and can not realize reference processing.
Therefore, the carbon dioxide sensor adopts the following key technologies:
1. The feedback current stabilizing circuit of high performance infrared light source is designed and adopted. The circuit provides a constant light source current and stabilizes the output power of infrared light source. The block diagram of the feedback current stabilizing circuit of the infrared light source is shown in the figure. The constant 2V voltage output by MC1403 is used as the comparison reference of the comparator.
2. The carbon dioxide sensor adopts the infrared detection device of high performance thin film thermoelectric stack.
3. Using additional error compensation and single chip microcomputer data processing technology. The additional error caused by the change of environmental parameters (the change of ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure) is difficult to solve effectively in infrared gas analysis
